As the year draws to a close, we at Ruby Doo are grateful and proud to reflect on the wonderful moments we've shared with our incredible community. Here's a heartwarming recap of our community contributions throughout 2023:
1. Wyrley Wildcats U9's sponsorship
We kicked off the recent football season by becoming the proud sponsor of the Wyrley Wildcats, a local girls' under 9's football team. The Ruby Doo logo, a symbol of fun and excitement, now graces their kits. We're grateful to be able to support these amazing athletes on their football journey!
2. NHS' 75th Anniversary Celebration:
In honour of the NHS' 75th anniversary, our amazing Ruby Doo team volunteered their time to visit young patients at Walsall Manor Hospital. Spiderman swung by, and Daisy Dog wagged her tail, bringing smiles to little faces. It was a day filled with laughter, joy, and superhero magic!
3. Colourful Strides for a Cause:
We laced up our running shoes for a 5k obstacle colour run, raising an incredible £1238.92 for Childhood Cancer Parents Alliance and Steps Worldwide charities. The vibrant colours mirrored the brightness we aim to bring to those facing tough battles.
4. Comic Relief Family Disco Extravaganza:
Laughter echoed through our Comic Relief Family Disco, where we grooved, spun, and raised £550 for Comic Relief. Our dancefloor shenanigans proving that every move can make a difference!
5. Vouchers of Joy:
We sprinkled a bit of Ruby Doo magic by donating discount vouchers to local raffles and charity nights. A little extra joy in every voucher, contributing to the success of community events.
6. Glittering Night for Libby Mae's Little Angels:
Our Glittermania team added sparkle to a charity night for Libby Mae's Little Angels. Faces/Hair with glitter, we contributed our shimmering touch to an evening dedicated to a heartfelt cause.
